ABSTRACT:

The Multiple Sensor Data-Fusion for EFD Using IoT” focuses on predicting fire hazards through real-time sensor monitoring and intelligent data analysis. The system uses multiple gas and temperature sensors—specifically MQ2, MQ6, and MQ135—to measure concentrations of LPG, smoke, and air quality. These values help identify potentially flammable atmospheric conditions. We use IoT platforms like ThinkSpeak to visualize sensor outputs, enabling early warnings and real-time alerts.By fusing data from multiple sensors, the system improves the accuracy of early fire detection (EFD). Instead of relying on a single parameter, it assesses patterns across temperature and gas concentrations to identify risk. The system then provides alerts through a cloud-based dashboard, allowing for quick responses. Therefore this approach supports proactive fire prevention in homes, industries, and forest-edge urban zones. Ultimately, the Multiple Sensor Data-Fusion for EFD Using IoT offers a smart, scalable, and efficient solution to prevent fire outbreaks .

INTRODUCTION:

The Multiple Sensor Data-Fusion for EFD Using IoT system improves early fire detection by combining real-time data from multiple environmental sensors. Fires in residential, industrial, or forest-bordering areas pose serious risks, so fast detection is essential. To address this, our system integrates MQ2, MQ6, and MQ135 sensors that detect smoke, LPG, and harmful gases. These sensors feed live data into an IoT platform, ThinkSpeak, which helps visualize atmospheric changes and trends. Consequently, users can act before a fire breaks out. Unlike single-sensor systems, ours fuses sensor data, which leads to more accurate predictions and fewer false alerts.Furthermore, real-time alerts help users respond faster—whether by taking preventive measures or notifying emergency services. Since the system relies on Wi-Fi-based communication, it offers remote access and continuous monitoring. In summary, the Multiple Sensor Data-Fusion for EFD Using IoT presents a smart, data-driven solution to reduce fire hazards and protect lives and property.
