Abstract
The main objective of our project is to construct a fully functional voice-based home automation system that uses the Internet of Things and Natural Language Processing. The home automation system is user-friendly to smartphones and laptops. A set of relays is used to connect the Node MCU to homes under controlled appliances. The user sends a command through the speech to the mobile devices, which interprets the message and sends the appropriate command to the specific appliance. The voice command given by the user is interpreted by the mobile device using Natural Language Processing. The system utilizes a node microcontroller unit (Node MCU) as a Wi-Fi-based gateway to connect to the Google Assistant. It determines operation must be completed by which the appliance to fulfill the user’s request. The user increased mobile capabilities we will be using a smart phone in this project. A smartphone application as nearly all of the data transferred can be processed by cloud. The user increased mobile capabilities we will be using a smart phone in this project. The IoT -based system for home automation can easily and efficiently control appliances. The Node MCU is interfaced with the appliances and programmed in a manner that they respond to mobile inputs.

ABSTRACT:

This project introduces a voice-controlled home automation system that uses Speech Based Controlled Techniques using NLP for efficient and user-friendly operation. We combine Natural Language Processing (NLP) with Internet of Things (IoT) technologies to allow users to control appliances through simple voice commands. A smartphone application captures the user’s voice, interprets it using NLP, and sends commands to a NodeMCU microcontroller. This microcontroller acts as a central controller and connects to appliances using relays. Moreover, we integrate Google Assistant to ensure real-time command processing and remote access. Cloud support improves the system’s scalability, responsiveness, and overall performance. As a result, users can manage their home environment without manual effort. The system offers a hands-free, smarter experience that improves convenience and comfort. With increased dependence on smart devices, this solution proves how Speech Based Controlled Techniques using NLP make home automation more intuitive, accessible, and an effective for daily use.

Speech Based Controlled Techniques using NLP are revolutionizing smart home automation. They allow users to control appliances using simple voice commands. In this project, we integrate voice recognition with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies. Our goal is to build a seamless and interactive home automation system.Users issue voice commands through smartphones or laptops. These commands are interpreted using NLP algorithms and then sent to a NodeMCU microcontroller. The NodeMCU, acting as a Wi-Fi-based hub, connects to various appliances using relays.Additionally, we link the system with Google Assistant to ensure fast, accurate, and reliable operation. The smartphone application communicates with the cloud, allowing remote and efficient control.As a result, this system simplifies daily tasks and improves accessibility—especially for elderly or differently-abled users. In conclusion, our project shows how combining IoT with Speech Based Controlled Techniques using NLP makes homes smarter and more responsive.
